THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 12,100 COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Among these, 11,263 persons developed the disease through contact, including 698 cases without an identified source of infection. 76 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 63 health workers contracted the disease on Sunday.

11,551 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,04,039 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 76 deaths due to the virus on Sunday with the toll rising to 13,716.

Malappuram 1541, Kozhikode 1358, Thrissur 1240, Palakkad 1183, Kollam 1112, Ernakulam 1105, Thiruvananthapuram 1099, Kannur 782, Alappuzha 683, Kasargod 593, Kottayam 568, Pathanamthitta 299, Wayanad 276, Idukki 261.

1,18,047 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 10.25.
