THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan said the lawyer had not mentioned the name of K M Mani in the Supreme Court. Communication in the court was wrongly misinterpreted, explained Vijayaraghavan. A bad intention was there in giving wrong news and there are attempts to create problems in the Left Front, he said.

Vijayaraghavan said K M Mani is an experienced political leader. The bar bribery agitation was against the UDF. A vigilance probe in the bar bribery case found that KM Mani was not personally responsible. The Kerala Congress came to the LDF after rejecting the UDF, he said.

The UDF in Kerala was at that time immersed in corruption. The Left Front fought against that corruption. It should be seen as a strike against the UDF. There are news production experts in media, blamed Vijayaraghavan.

Meantime, there are indications that Kerala Congress Jose K Mani faction have expressed their dissatisfaction to the CPM over government's stand. Jose K Mani had hinted indirectly on it. The Kerala Congress leaders have asserted that they will react after party leadership meeting.
