KOCHI: Kitex Group managing director Sabu Jacob said that he never thought of leaving Kerala and that he was kicked out from the state. Haunted me like an animal and tried my best to hold on. The trip was not to put pressure on the state government, he said while talking to the media at the Kochi airport before leaving for Telangana.

He said that he is upset thinking of the young entrepreneurs investing in Kerala. If this goes on, we will have to grieve for the new generation. This is not his protest and not going to Telangana liking it. Telangana is one of the most industrial friendly states in the country. They sent a private jet and invited for talks at the government level. He said that is why decided to go there first.

No one called when he said that he had cancelled an investment project worth Rs 3,500 crore. The chief minister said that he had called a meeting on it. The industry minister, who came out after the meeting, said everything the officials did was right. Asked whom to complain to, Sabu Jacob told the media that he had been suffering from this for days. He added that there should be no more discussions and want results.

A six-member team led by Kitex MD Sabu M Jacob will hold talks with the Telangana government. The trip was on a private jet sent by the Telangana government. Sabu Jacob had earlier spoken to Industries Minister K T Rama Rao and other top officials over the phone.
