THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 13,563 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Among these, 12,769 persons developed the disease through contact, including 685 cases without an identified source of infection. 52 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 57 health workers contracted the disease on Friday.

10,454 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,13,115 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 130 deaths due to the virus on Friday with the toll rising to 14,380.

1,30,424 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 10.4.
