THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the Education Assistance Fund will be set up as a sub-component of the relief fund in the state. He said the government aims to achieve academic excellence in all schools through quality education.
The Chief Minister was speaking on the sidelines of an online meeting with representatives of expatriate organizations and the Loka Kerala Sabha in various countries on digital education.
The CM said that the online education system in the state will be changed in such a way that each student will be able to attend the classes taken by their own teachers. "Children will have the opportunity to share their ideas and ask questions to the teachers. Discussions with service providers have shown that the problem of internet connectivity can be solved. The government will contact manufacturers to make digital devices available for less than the amount available in the market," he said.
