THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister K Radhakrishnan has made it clear that the state government will not protect anyone who was involved in the SC-ST fund fraud. The minister said that it was the department that found out about the scam and strict action would be taken.

Rahul, the main accused in the case of embezzling funds of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students, had surrendered a few days back. He had embezzled the funds that were meant for building classrooms and marriage assistance for SC / ST students. It was the department itself that found the scam and informed the police.
