THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has said that the lockdown restrictions currently being implemented by the government in the state are doing more harm than good. According to the IMA, crowds can occur when shops and businesses are only open for a short time. Therefore, measures should be taken in such a way that shops remain open for a longer duration.
The organization also called for changes in testing practices. Community testing is not the type to find patients. Contract testing is required. If home isolation was effective in the early stages, it is now in a state of failure.
