THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 13,956 COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Among these, 13,214 persons developed the disease through contact, including 617 cases without an identified source of infection. 75 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 50 health workers contracted the disease on Sunday.

13,613 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,25,041 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 81 deaths due to the virus on Sunday with the toll rising to 15,350.

Malappuram 2271, Kozhikode 1666, Ernakulam 1555, Thrissur 1486, Kollam 1026, Thiruvananthapuram 977, Palakkad 952, Kannur 797, Alappuzha 786, Kottayam 670, Kasaragod 636, Wayanad 473, Pathanamthitta 342, Idukki 319.

1,30,553 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 10.69.
