THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that heavy rains will continue in the state till Friday. An orange alert has been declared in Idukki and Kozhikode districts on Thursday and in Idukki and Kannur districts on Friday.

The state is likely to receive 64.5 mm to 204.4 mm of rainfall in 24 hours. The IMD has also issued a yellow alert in various districts

Tuesday- Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Idukki
Wednesday- Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki
Thursday- Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Malappuram
Friday- Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kasaragod.
