KOZHIKODE: Unable to cope with the financial problems triggered by the COVID-19 crisis, two people committed suicide at Vadakara and Atholi in the district. Auto driver identified as Harish Babu of Vaikkilasseri in Vadakara and Manoj of Kothangal in the district were found hanging.

Harish was found hanging in his rented quarters where he was staying alone. The police have started a probe on the two incidents. The body of Manoj is kept at Malabar Medical College.
