THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: League general secretary PMA Salam said that Hyderali Thangal had given the task to Mueenn Ali to settle the liabilities of Chandrika daily. Mueen Ali was given a month to settle the liabilities. PMA Salam explained on Facebook that the deadline was April 5. PMA Salam's explanation came after Hyder Ali released their letter proving that the League leadership's claim that Mueen Ali had no connection with Chandrika was false.

The League leaders explained yesterday that Mueen Ali Thangal came to the press conference in Kozhikode to explain the matter of Chandrika without being called and that he was not in charge of Chandrika. However, in March, Hyder Ali Thangal had written a letter appointing Mueen Ali to resolve the issue in Chandrika. According to the letter, Mueen Ali will discuss the matter with Chandrika's manager Sameer.
