THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Lashing out at PK Kunhalikutty, KT Jaleel on Saturday said that the Kunhalikutty era in the Muslim League was coming to an end. Jaleel was responding to media after listening to the press conference organised by the Muslim League leaders following a high-level committee meeting.

"Kunhalikutty did not open his mouth during the press conference. This is history. Sadiqali Shihab Thangal was able to explain things calmly. ET Mohammed Basheer too spoke out whatever he had to say. PMA Salam explained things for the first time since becoming general secretary. No one snatched the mic from him. What happened today is what the democratic community in Kerala wanted," Jaleel said.

"Kunhalikutty is the spokesman for blackmail politics. It was he who expelled PM Aboobacker Sahib and Seth Sahib from the party. The Kunhalikutty era in the Muslim League is coming to an end. A generation will be born in the League to expel Kunhalikutty," Jaleel added.
