THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 13,049 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 12,300 persons developed the disease through contact, including 627 cases without an identified source of infection. 64 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 58 health workers contracted the disease on Monday.

20,004 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,69,512 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 105 deaths due to the virus on Monday with the toll rising to 17,852.

98,640 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 13.23.
