THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: League general secretary PMA Salam said that those who tried to divide the Muslim League and the Panakkad family by using the day laborers had to come out of their hideouts. Salam was referring to CPM acting secretary A Vijayaraghavan.
Mueen Ali Shihab Thangal's note is the answer to everything left. "No one should dare to fish in turbulent waters," he added. Kerala's political history has shown that the Muslim League is not a movement that collapses when it loses power. Fight in IUML was expected to be the last hope for the CPM, which was on the defensive with crores of rupees of corruption, bank frauds, assembly attacks and the pathetic failure of the Covid management. Salam said the party secretary should not forget that the CPM is the only party left with leaders and living martyrs who have been cut off by civil strife.
A Vijayaraghavan had said in response to PK Kunhalikutty's allegation that the CPM was behind the controversy in the Muslim League was ridiculous.
