KOCHI: Indian hockey team goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, who became the pride of the nation by winning the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, has reached Kochi. He landed at the Nedumbassery airport at 5 pm on Tuesday and was received by Sports Minister V Abdurahman. Sreejesh came out of the airport in a special vehicle arranged by the government. Sreejesh will get warm receptions at various places on his way to his hometown Pallikkara.

"No cabinet meeting was held since the hockey team won the medal. All such announcements are usually made by the cabinet,' the minister said.
