THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three have been arrested in the Kerala Bank ATM fraud case. The cybercrime police arrested the three. It is hinted that all the three are from Kasargod. They were nabbed from Tamil Nadu. The investigation team said there are more accused in the case.

The case is that an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh was stolen from various ATMs of Kerala Bank using fake cards. It has been found that the money was withdrawn from the ATMs in Thiruvananthapuram, Kasaragod and Kottayam. Kerala Bank authorities said none of the consumers have lost their money.

Money can be withdrawn from other banks' ATMs using any bank card. However, the money will be withdrawn from the account of the bank to which the ATM belongs. In the evening the money will be credited to the bank account from the person who withdrew the money through the software of the Reserve Bank. However, the bank officials came to know about the fraud when the money did not reach in the evening.
