KOLLAM: Two bikers were killed after an over speeded car hit their vehicle. The two engineering students along with others were on a pleasure trip to Thenmala. The two, students of an engineering college in the capital city, have been identified as B N Govind (20), son of Vijayan of Kundara Keralapuram Mandapam Junction and Chaitanya (20), daughter of Ajaya Kumar of Chaitanya in Kasargod.

When the students in five bikes were proceeding to Thenmala, the over-speeded Ertiga car collided with the bullet Govind was riding. Govind died on the spot and Chaitanya at a private hospital in Kottarakkara. The car belongs to a native of Pathanapuram. The passengers of the car also sustained injuries. The Kunnikod police said a case has been registered and an investigation has started.
