THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a goof-up, BJP state chief K Surendran unfurled the Tricolour upside down at the party state committee office in the capital city. He rectified the goof-up soon after.

Immediately after unfurling the national flag at the party’s office, he realised that the national flag was upside down and rectified the mistake by bringing it down and hoisting it properly. The explanation given was that it happened because the rope got twisted.

Surendran shared the pictures of the function on Facebook. After hoisting the national flag, honoured freedom fighter and senior BJP leader Ayyappan Pillai.
