THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Lashing out at the CPM and the BJP, Congress leader K Muraleedharan MP on Sunday said that those who hoisted the national flag under the red flag and hoisted the flag upside down were preaching patriotism. In his Facebook post, Muraleedharan criticized that those who are ruling the country do not even know how to hoist the national flag 74 years after independence.

Muraleedharan criticized the two parties by stating that both the BJP and the CPM had nothing to do with the freedom struggle and history of the country. He added that the history of the Congress cannot be erased by anyone with hypocritical nationalism.
