KOZHIKODE: BJP national chief J P Nadda harshly criticised the state government. He criticised saying that the current state of health in the state was not a Kerala model but a model of mismanagement. Nadda was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Mararji Bhavan in Kozhikode. He called on the BJP workers to ensure the success of Covid vaccination in Kerala and to ensure that there is no discrimination in vaccination.

‘Half of the Covid cases in the country are in Kerala. Despite all assistance given by the Prime Minister, not enough development is taking place in Kerala. The state is not implementing the central schemes properly. The centre is trying to help, but Kerala is taking a completely negative approach without implementing the projects. There are no industries here. It is a shame that the chief minister’s office is involved in the gold smuggling, he said.

Nadda said Kerala has become an ISIS recruiting centre. Women and children are being targeted and rapes are taking place. Police have been mere spectators.

In the meanwhile, two women were taken into custody in Kannur by the NIA for allegedly propagating ideology of ISIS terror group through social media. Shifa Harris and Misha Siddique are the two arrested by the NIA team from Delhi. The two are close aides of Muzad Anwar arrested in a similar case earlier. The NIA found that they had formed a group named ‘Chronicle Foundation’ and propagated ideology of ISIS through social media.
