THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 21,613 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Among these, 20,248 persons developed the disease through contact, including 1181 cases without an identified source of infection. 92 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 92 health workers contracted the disease on Tuesday.

18,556 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,75,167 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 127 deaths due to the virus on Tuesday with the toll rising to 18,870.

Malappuram 3193, Ernakulam 2643, Thrissur 2470, Kozhikode 2322, Palakkad 2134, Kollam 1692, Kannur 1306, Alappuzha 1177, Kottayam 1155, Thiruvananthapuram 1155, Pathanamthitta 824, Wayanad 619, Kasaragod 509, Idukki 414.

1,39,623 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 15.48.
