THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior leaders P Jayarajan and KP Sahadevan were warned by the CPM state committee for misconduct at the Kannur district secretariat meeting. The two were involved in a heated argument that forced the CPM to take such a step. The leadership warned both leaders not to repeat such incidents.

The dispute between Jayarajan and Sahadevan started during a discussion over Jayarajan's connection with Arjun Ayanki and Akash Thillankeri. It was Sahadevan who raised the issue by mentioning Jayarajan's connection with the accused and the social media posts praising Jayarajan. The meeting had to be adjourned as the heated exchange between the two leaders escalated.
