THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 13,383 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 12,492 persons developed the disease through contact, including 771 cases without an identified source of infection. 39 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 81 health workers contracted the disease on Monday.

21,942 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,54,563 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 90 deaths due to the virus on Monday with the toll rising to 19,584.

85,650 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 15.63.
