KOZHENCHERRY: A woman died from a cerebral haemorrhage. She has been identified as Divya R Nair (38), wife of Jinu G Kumar of Naranganam Nedumbara Puthuparambil. She died on Monday at private medical college in Thiruvalla.

Her relatives alleged that she died due to the uneasiness she developed after receiving the first dose of the vaccine. She took the vaccine on August 2 at the primary health centre in Kadammanitta. She had headache after that.

She sought treatment at a private hospital in Kozhencherry for her headache. She suffered a cerebral haemorrhage here and was rushed to a hospital in Kochi. She underwent two surgeries here. Her health issues worsened and there was bleeding again. She was later shifted to a private medical college in Thiruvalla. Her relatives have lodged a complaint to the authorities.
