MYSURU: Four accused have been arrested in connection with the brutal gang-rape of an MBA student in Chamundi Hills. Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra said that the operation to nab the accused was a success.

It is learnt that the accused were caught from Tamil Nadu. Araga Jnanendra said that the details of the operation will be announced to the media at 2 pm today. Earlier, some reports had claimed that the police had taken into custody four students who were allegedly involved in the incident. They are students of Mysore University. Three of them are Malayalees and one is from Tamil Nadu. It was reported that the information was obtained during an investigation based on their tower location. The girl was gang-raped by the accused on August 24.
