THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 19,622 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 18,436 persons developed the disease through contact, including 1061 cases without an identified source of infection. 62 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 63 health workers contracted the disease on Monday.

22,563 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 2,09,493 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 132 deaths due to the virus on Monday day with the toll rising to 20,673.

1,17,216 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 16.74.
