THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 30,203 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Among these, 30,456 persons developed the disease through contact, including 1441 cases without an identified source of infection. 102 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 98 health workers contracted the disease on Thursday.

21,634 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 2,40,186 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 188 deaths due to the virus on Thursday with the toll rising to 21,149.

Thrissur 4334, Ernakulam 3768, Kozhikode 3531, Palakkad 2998, Kollam 2908, Malappuram 2664, Thiruvananthapuram 2440, Kottayam 2121, Alappuzha 1709, Kannur 1626, Pathanamthitta 1267, Idukki 1164, Wayanad 1012, Kasaragod 555.

1,74,307 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 18.41.
