v-d-satheesan

KOZHIKODE: Opposition leader V D Satheesan came down heavily on the Kerala police. He criticized the police for misbehaving with women and children. The opposition leader demanded to examine the number of complaints lodged by women in police stations. All that are stacked in stations.

Satheesan alleged that in every district, the police have been given a target to impose fine and the police are squeezing the common man to achieve this. He also demanded an end to the police crackdown.

Meantime, he also criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for providing protection to the official guilty in the Muttil tree-felling case. He scoffed that honest officials are being transferred, but the forest minister is not aware of all this.
