THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PS Prasanth, who was expelled from the Congress for making statements against AICC secretary KC Venugopal and DCC president Palode Ravi, has joined the CPM. Prasanth was KPCC secretary and the Congress candidate from Nedumangad constituency in the Assembly elections.

PS Prasanth had taken a tough stand against KC Venugopal and publicly alleged that Palode Ravi had tried to defeat him in the elections.

Prasanth said he decided to work with the CPM because the CPM is a party that upholds secularism. He also said that he was not able to organizational work in the Congress.
