THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A case has been registered against N Prasanth IAS for misbehaving with a woman journalist who sought his response in the deep sea fishing controversy. The case was registered under non-bailable section for insulting womanhood.

Prashanth was found guilty in the FIR. Prashanth had sent a WhatsApp message to a reporter of Mathrubhumi daily insulting women. The case is based on a complaint lodged by the journalists' union with the chief minister.
