THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Santhosh, who gave antiques to Monson Mavunkal, has come out with more revelations about the antique fraud. The revelation is that the stick that claimed to be Moses' staff was just a crutch and that an ordinary uri (hanging pot) was claimed to be Krishna's coir shelf. Santhosh was talking on a private channel. Santhosh runs an antique business collecting antiquities and provides materials for art direction in films.
Santhosh says that the stick that claims to be part of Moses' stick is not archeological but a walking stick that is only forty to fifty years old. He revealed that an uri which was claimed to be Krishna's, was used to store curd and butter in an old house and that it was only sixty years old. The lamp claimed to be Prophet's is an earthen lamp used by the Jews. The lamp is only a maximum of 100 years old. He said he sold things to him by explaining how old they were.
Santhosh said that most of the artifacts were bought from him but he did not get a single rupee for them. "When he says that people will come from Qatar and Dubai, I used to deliver goods. But I don't think it was sold. All the goods are still there. When I saw the introduction of the goods in his YouTube video saying that it belonged to Moses and Krishna, I asked him. When asked if it was being used for cheating, he replied that it was for curiosity", Santhosh said.
