THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 15,914 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Among these, 15,073 persons developed the disease through contact, including 691 cases without an identified source of infection. 74 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 76 health workers contracted the disease on Thursday.

16,758 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,42,529 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 122 deaths due to the virus on Thursday with the toll rising to 25,087.

Thiruvananthapuram-1855, Kollam-1078, Thrissur-1918, Ernakulam- 2332, Malappuram- 942, Kozhikode-1360, Alappuzha- 1120, Kottayam-1259, Palakkad-888, Kannur- 799, Pathanamthitta-872, Idukki-662, Wayanad- 566, and Kasaragod-263.
