KOTTAYAM: The body of Nithinamol, who was murdered by her classmate on Friday, was brought to her house in Thalayolaparambu after postmortem. After the public commemoration, the body was taken to her relative's house in Thuruvelikunnu. The funeral will take place at Thuruvelikunnu.

Despite Covid fear, a large number of people had gathered at her house in Thalayolaparambu to pay homage. Many of the natives could not hold back their tears. Minister VN Vasavan and local MLA K Asha visited Nithina's house on behalf of the state government.

Meanwhile, the postmortem report revealed that Nithina died due to excessive loss of blood through a deep wound in her neck. According to the report, a deep wound was created as the accused held Nithina closer to his body.
