THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 9735 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Among these, 9,101 persons developed the disease through contact, including 529 cases without an identified source of infection. 36 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 69 health workers contracted the disease on Tuesday.

13,878 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,24,441 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 151 deaths due to the virus on Tuesday with the toll rising to 25,677.
