KOTTAYAM: Most of the KSRTC bus services have been resumed in Idukki and Kottayam districts. The services suspended were resumed due to the low water level. All services from Pala except Kumily have been resumed.

Kuttikkanam-Mundakkayam services have not been resumed. Kuttikkanam-Vagamon-Kottayam services have started. Ambalapuzha-Thiruvalla KSRTC services have resumed. Meantime, entry to tourist destinations in Kottayam has been suspended till October 25.

Public access has been suspended following warnings of possible heavy rains in the coming days. District Collector P K Jayasree has issued the notification. Night travel to hilly areas except for essentials has been banned.
