THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM acting secretary A Vijayaraghavan on Friday said that Cherian Philip was not a CPM member and was just a Left fellow traveller. Speaking to the media, Vijayaraghavan said that Cherian Philip's Congress entry will not affect the LDF or the CPM.

"Cherian Philip was not a CPM member. He had no organizational responsibility. He came alone and left alone. The party has several fellow travellers and it is grateful for their work," Vijayaraghavan said.

Vijayaraghavan refused to respond to the allegations made by Cherian Philip against the additional private secretary of the Chief Minister. Cherian Philip returned to Congress on Friday morning.
