THRISSUR: One of the two children who went to take a bath in the river in Arattupuzha drowned and the other went missing. The incident took place at Mandaramkadavu in Arattupuzha. Gautham (14) and Shijin (15), students from Arattupuzha, came to bathe here at 1.30 pm on Thursday. The children came here to bathe after a football match.

The accident took place at a jetty where people used to bathe regularly. Gautham's body was found during a search conducted by a disaster management team, fire brigade and police. They are students studying in 9th and 10th classes.
