NEDUMBASSERY: An elderly man who reached the Cochin International Airport to receive his son collapsed and died. The deceased has been identified as Chavakkad native NK Kunju (65).

The incident took place on Saturday. Kunju had reached the airport with his family members to receive his son Shihab who was returning from Bahrain.

Kunju expressed uneasiness soon after embracing Shihab. Though he was rushed to a private hospital in Angamaly, he could not be saved.
