THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Anupama S Chandran has decided to go on a strike again in the incident of giving her child for adoption without her knowledge. She will stage a protest in front of the child welfare committee at 10 am. The strike is staged seeking the expulsion of child welfare committee chairperson advocate N Sunanda and child welfare committee general secretary Shiju Khan.

She said CWC chairperson and child welfare committee general secretary gave the child for adoption and said a strike will be staged till the two are removed from their posts. She wants the child to be housed under the care of the government.

She delivered the baby on October 19 in 2020. She had earlier alleged that her child was given for adoption by her parents to the child welfare committee and had approached the officials to get the baby back but did not yield any results.
