PALAKKAD: A man and his son made a miraculous escape after a pickup van was washed away by flash floods following heavy rain in the Attapadi pass. The incident took place at Nellipuzha near the pass by around 4.30 pm. Soman and his son, who were travelling in the vehicle, miraculously escaped from the van with the help of the locals.

The pickup van was crossing a low-lying bridge when it got washed away by flash floods. Soman and his son were rescued by the locals.
