THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The driver of Governor Arif Muhammed Khan was found hanging Sunday morning. He has been identified as Thejas (48) of Cherthala. He was found hanging early this morning at his quarters in Raj Bhavan.

Police said a suicide note has been obtained from the quarters which said that he is taking the extreme step due to personal reasons.

Thejas has been working with the governor for quite some time. After completing the inquest proceedings, the body will be taken to Cherthala.

He took the drastic step after returning from the airport at 8.55 pm last night. The police have started an investigation.
