KUWAIT CITY: Those who have been vaccinated with Covaxin will soon be able to enter Kuwait. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sibi George said the matter was being discussed with the Kuwaiti authorities. He said that the embassy had started a registration drive for Indians vaccinated with Covaxin and that the approval of Covaxin by the World Health Organization had been brought to the attention of the Kuwaiti authorities.

At present, people vaccinated with Covaxin are unable to enter Kuwait as the country has not approved the vaccine. The embassy has launched a registration drive to collect information on Covaxin recipients. The information should be provided by filling up the Google form provided on the Embassy website.
