THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Noted lyricist and director Sreekumaran Thampy came forward against those who celebrated the death of General Bipin Rawat on social media. Soon after confirming his death, many posted smileys and emoji’s on social media. So far we have not had a general. The cyber police should file a case and probe against them who found so much joy in the death of such a person, said Thampy.
‘13 including Rawat and his wife lost their lives in the helicopter crash. This was the first time India had received a joint military chief. The reaction of many who celebrated the news of his demise came as a shock. The police should be prepared to arrest such people and register a case. All Indians must unite and isolate these traitors. Those insulting and ridiculing the country after consuming the air and food of India are criminals. They should be found, prosecuted and arrested by the police,’ he said.
