DOHA: A Malayali doctor, who was undergoing treatment after suffering a brain stroke, died in Doha. The deceased has been identified as Thalassery native Hiba Ismail (30). Hiba suffered a brain stroke after giving birth. Hiba, the wife of Kozhikode native Muhammad Shinoy, was a radiologist at the Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar.

Hiba had given birth to a boy three weeks ago. She complained of a severe headache last week and was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Relatives said that Hiba was preparing to go to the United States for higher studies after giving birth.
