NEW DELHI: With the completion of the DNA tests of four killed in the copter crash at Coonoor in Tamil Nadu, all victims have been identified. The body of Lance Naik Sai Teja will be cremated at his house premises in Madanapalle, Chittoor of Andhra Pradesh. The body was brought to Bengaluru the other day after completing the DNA test. Before leaving for Chittoor, the army officers paid respects to the mortal remains. He will be laid to rest at 4 pm this evening.

There is no change in the condition of Group Captain Varun Singh injured in the accident. Although responding to medications, occasional fluctuations in blood pressure is a cause of concern. He is currently in the intensive care unit of the Aviation Command Hospital in Bengaluru.

The bodies of the four killed in the accident will be taken to their hometowns today. The body of Malayalee Air Force Junior Warrant Officer A Pradeep Kumar was cremated with full military honours at his home in Ponnukkara, Thrissur yesterday.

A preliminary report on the helicopter crash that killed 13 people including Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat will be obtained in a week. Steps are being taken to check including the black box. The adverse weather conditions, landing error and explosion are mainly examined.
