MALAPPURAM: A Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case has been slapped against a CPM leader also a teacher. The action was taken on the complaint of the students. The Nilambur police took a case against Sukumaran, Edakkara CPM area committee member. Sukumaran is the secretary and teacher of Nilambur Cooperative College controlled by the party.

Four students lodged a complaint against Sukumaran. The Nilambur police registered two cases against him. The students have secretly testified before the magistrate.
