CHANDIGARH: It is a matter of concern that the number of people suffering from Omicron variants are on the rise in the country. One has been diagnosed with the disease in Chandigarh where the disease was not reported yet. The 20-year-old was diagnosed with the disease after travelling abroad. He was in Italy. He fell ill while visiting his relatives in Chandigarh. His study report came on Saturday night. Chandigarh Health Services Director Dr Suman Singh said the Omicron variant has been confirmed.
