ALUVA: Advocate General Gopalakrishna Kurup said natural action will be taken against government pleader Rashmitha Ramachandran for her alleged distasteful remarks against Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat. Action will be taken but at the moment am unable to spell out the nature of action, said Kurup while talking to the media after meeting Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the Aluva Guest House.

He described the meeting with the chief minister as normal. 'A normal meeting, nothing beyond that. The Advocate General does not need a special issue to meet the chief minister. A lot of things will be discussed and legal advice will be given,’ the AG said.

To a question regarding the appointment of Kannur VC, the AG said that it is in the court and it is not right on my side to opine on that now.

Kurup said he has not noticed what the Governor said. He has not asked me anything neither have I given anything. He said that he gives legal advice to the government and not to the Governor.
