KOTTAYAM: A woman, who left home with her child after hacking her husband to death, has been taken into custody. The woman, named Rosanna, was arrested by the police from Manarcaud. Rosanna hacked her husband Siji of Perumkavu on Tuesday morning. Siji's relatives said that Rosanna had a mental illness.

Siji was an autorickshaw driver in Kanjirathummoodu. It was the neighbours who discovered Siji lying in a pool of blood inside the house. Following this, a search was launched to find Rosanna and her son. Locals had seen Rosanna going out with her son in the morning.
