THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More information in the murder of a youth identified as Sudheesh in Pothencode, has surfaced. There are indications that Sudheesh was trapped. The probe team also suspects that Sudheesh was given alcohol before the attackers reached the place.

No signs of Sudheesh resisting the attack were obtained. It is clear from the investigation that severe rivalry between the gangs is behind the murder. Shibin, Sudheesh’s friend informed Shyam Kumar that the victim was in the colony. Shyam is Sudheesh’s brother-in-law.

The miscreants barged into the house and chopped off Sudheesh’s legs. There were 11 in the murder group. However, indications are that more are involved in the conspiracy. The main accused in the case -- Ottakam Rajesh, Unni and Shyam are still on the run. More clarity would be obtained after nabbing them.
